Ashley is a dedicated masters level therapist, currently pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Practice at Georgia State University. A North Carolina native, she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Western Carolina University and a master's degree in School-Based Clinical Counseling from the University of San Diego. Ashley has a diverse background in supporting children, adolescents, and families, having worked in alternative schools focused on mental health. Throughout her professional journey, Ashley has been committed to addressing the mental health needs of her clients, particularly those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Her therapeutic approach is primarily grounded in solution-focused counseling, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She is dedicated to creating a safe and empathetic environment where clients can explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies. Ashley primarily works with children and adolescents, offering tailored therapeutic interventions to meet each client's unique needs. She understands the importance of involving parents and guardians in the therapeutic process and works closely with them to develop strategies that enhance the support their children receive.
