Marie earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott
College, and she is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist. She
believes that growth and healing begin with connection and relationships. Marie takes time to get to know each child- their interests, strengths, experiences, and unique perspective on the world-
and uses that connection as a foundation for therapy. Marie works with children and teens who may be navigating anxiety, grief,
neurodivergence, or exploring their identity and sense of self. As an LGBTQ+ affirming
therapist, Marie works to create a space where children and teens can feel comfortable being
themselves, exploring their identities, and making sense of their experiences. She values
partnering with caregivers and believes that working together can help create lasting growth both
in and outside of the therapy room.
Marie uses Child-Centered Play Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Expressive Arts
Therapy in her work. She also brings a multicultural and intersectional lens to therapy,
recognizing that each child’s identities, experiences, and relationships shape how they see and
move through the world.
